			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Laurent-Paul Robert and Vesna Petresin Robert of Rubedo are presenting, performing and mentoring at the X|Media|Lab Sweden. The event focuses on the latest frontier of digital media &#8211; the physical world.</p>
<p>Using the technique of ‘harmonography’, Rubedo’s performance set in Caroli Church in Malmo explores synaesthesia and immersive environments by means of location-based digital tools.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>‘Notes from the Universe’ examines the Pythagorean concept of Music of the Spheres in relation to particle physics, the origins of the universe and creativity.</p>
<p>The event features Professor Brian Foster of Oxford University, Vesna Petresin Robert of Rubedo, and Ariane Koek of International Arts at CERN, and includes a screening of Rubedo’s audio-visual pieces as well as sounds of particles from the Large Hadron Collider at CERN.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>A new piece by Rubedo merging film, choreography, sound, pattern and sculpture, has been included in the ‘Block Party’ touring exhibition examining art and pattern cutting.</p>
<p>‘Audiomorph’ [Can I Wear My Song?] explores the space of the body in relation to its environment, where transformation is driven by sound parameters; the crystallised sonic pattern becomes a wearable architecture.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Rubedo’s sound sculpture animated by responsive particle fields, is being shown at the ‘DigitalFUTURE’ in Shanghai. The exhibition explores the use of advanced computational techniques and robotic fabrication technologies in design and art.</p>
<p>Featured practices include Zaha Hadid Architects, Greg Lynn Form, UN Studio, Kokkugia, SPAN, Biothing et al.</p>

UK release 8th June 2011]]></description>

<p>The film by Terrence Malick won the Palme d&#8217;or at the 2011 Cannes Film Festival and has just been released in the UK.</p>

Vesna Petresin Robert discusses the role of synaesthesia and cross-modal networks in their practice, in a session chaired by Julian Henriques on 6th May.</p>
<p>Organised by the Department of Media and Communications at Goldsmiths, University of London, the subject of  the event is the changing nature and definition of the senses and the presentation of sensory data, as well as the artistic interventions that explore this shift.</p>
